Call me a sucker, but I just love a movie that tugs at my heartstrings…and I have to tell you from the second I saw the first preview for The Odd Life of Timothy Green I was sold.
So yes, obviously the basic concept is make-believe…but I love that the movie looks so magical and has something good happen to a couple who are struggling with infertility….which can be blindingly painful.
Academy Award–nominated director/writer Peter Hedges (“Dan in Real Life,” What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”) brings enchantment to the screen with “The Odd Life of Timothy Green.” It’s the inspiring, magical story of a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like.
