Reflecting on BlogHer ’12. Or, what just happened exactly?

Times_Square

I attended my first BlogHer conference in 2009 and headed to Chicago wild with excitement. I had big dreams and was so eager to learn more about blogging, make connections, and grow myself as a writer and photographer. The conference was large and overwhelming at times, but ultimately I left that year feeling amazing. The take-away had been far greater than I expected. That year I met so many incredible women who inspired me to do great things and seek {Read More}

Inspiration and Disney Magic – A Perfect Pairing #disneysmmoms

Somehow I can’t believe there are any heights that can’t be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C’s. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably. -Walt Disney A conference full of inspiration and magic! If there is one thing I took {Read More}

Musselman’s Apple – My trip to the orchards #OrchardDay11 #BeInspired

The Event: In early September I was lucky enough to be invited to Gettysburg, PA to tour the Musselman’s Apple facilities. They invited me and eight other bloggers to sit down with them and discuss their products and where their focus is as a brand. Coming away from the experience I can tell you that I have never seen more heart go into products than I did in my time at Musselman’s. The Company: Musselman’s Apples is a grower owned {Read More}

There’s nothing like having fun with old friends #blogher11

Me with Amy at the P&G Event. Me with Esther chatting about GLMPS. Me with Elaine during lunch. Me with Jenny (on the spot). Me with Amy by the pool. This BlogHer was my 3rd. It was also my favorite so far. I made so many amazing contacts, had a ton of fun, and could not get enough of the GORGEOUS San Diego weather! But the best thing about this year was really just re-connecting and enjoying time with all {Read More}

I can’t say I’m surprised

Ever feel like this? I do, daily. I started this year off with a bang…and a lofty goal. Blog regularly, take pictures daily, live well. So far, I haven’t really managed any of the three things all that well, and here we are….frighteningly into February already (did January even really happen, or did I just imagine it?). Of course, there are some rational reasons for all this. My kid was in the hospital and miserably ill. I was miserably ill {Read More}

If one photo could sum up who I am right now….

It would be this one.  Hands down, this is my favorite photo from The Evo Conference. Taken by the lovely, MooshinIndy.

Do I sense a trend going on here? I’m still at a loss for words. I’ve been looking for them everywhere, but haven’t found them yet. Let’s hope they come back soon.

The Crazy Life

Things around here have been all over the place lately. In a good way, but still. I have been so blessed in the last 2 months with many opportunities that you will hear about in the coming months. One of them is that I am now blogging my experiences with Secondary Infertility at Conceive Online.com. You can find my blog, Project: Little Sister (or Brother) HERE. I’d really appreciate it if you could drop by and comment from time to {Read More}

It’s all a blur
