Back-to-School: Send them off to class with warm wishes from Hallmark *GIVEAWAY*

What is it about starting a new school year that is totally exhilarating and yet terrifying at the exact same time?

As a kid I was frightened that I wouldn’t make new friends or get along with my new teacher…and now as a parent, I worry about those things for Jackson and his cousins.

Hallmark makes it easy to send kids warm wishes for a great new school year and  little reminders that they are loved throughout the year with their products.

Even something small like a sweet card or lunch note on the first day of school can make a huge difference in the confidence of a child.

I’m giving this card to my oldest niece McKenna because she loves animals.

Hallmark also makes it easy to offer little incentives or special treats for your child all all year long with Bug ‘Em.

With this sweet little guy you can have small cards, treats, and other items waiting with your child’s lunch kit in the morning. The zippered pouch on the back and the little clip hand help you stow gifts with ease.

Jackson really took to the Bug ‘Em ever since I brought it home, so I’ve been using it as a way to reward good behaviors. For instance, after Jackson follows directions the first time to help pick up toys…I give him the Bug ‘Em with a small bag of crackers inside as a treat. Sometimes I’ll also place a small ball or toy inside the zippered pouch for him as well.

Even though Jackson cannot talk, he has come to understand that the Bug ‘Em has fun things inside when he is a good boy…and I love that he is also getting fine motor skills practice when he opens and closes the zipper.

I think of Bug ‘Em as a sort of year-round stocking.

For the older kids in your life Hallmark also has a new line of Justin Bieber cards that offer words of encouragement. I like this line because the cards really do say awesome, yet appropriate things for their intended recipients. And I mean, who wouldn’t want to have their teenage heartthrob tell them they are amazing? ;-)

All these products are available for purchase now at your local Hallmark store.
