It rained almost all day yesterday…and the day before that. To be honest, prolonged nasty weather has a horrible effect on my mood.
It makes me…well, nasty.
But by evening it seemed the rain was done for awhile..and the sun even tried to peek through the clouds for a bit so we took advantage and headed over to the local splash pad. (see how much Jackson has grown since we went last year)
It was cool, quiet and the perfect thing to lift my spirits after a dreary weekend. Jackson enjoyed it too.
Even though I am nearly 5 years into this thing called motherhood (can you believe he will be 5 next month?!?) every now and then the amount of sheer love and joy Jackson brings into my life just overtakes me. My heart feels as if at any moment it will burst with all the adoration I have for him.
This kid….he’s simply the best.
I mean, how could it possibly get any better than this?
So blessed. So grateful.
